Availability
I offer weekly online counselling sessions for adults. Online therapy allows clients to access support from the comfort and privacy of their own home, and provides flexibility for those balancing work, family or other commitments.
Appointments are available on weekday mornings, afternoons and evenings, depending on availability. Sessions take place at the same time each week to provide continuity and a stable foundation for therapeutic work.
I respond to enquiries as promptly as possible. If I am away or temporarily unavailable, my out-of-office message will indicate when you can expect a reply.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a registered therapist with extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy, DBT, IFS (Internal Family Systems), and humanistic and integrative approaches. I combine evidence-based methods with empathy, clarity and collaboration.
CBT forms a significant part of my approach, helping clients understand how their thoughts, emotions and behaviours interact and how to create practical, lasting change. Alongside this, my person-centred and integrative training supports a warm, non-judgmental space where you can talk openly and be met with respect and understanding.
I work with anxiety, depression, panic, self-esteem issues, stress, anger, self-care, and the impact of domestic violence or sexual abuse. I also have many years of experience working in disability services and outreach programmes, giving me insight into the challenges facing young adults and individuals living with complex needs.
My goal is to help you develop insight, strengthen your coping skills, and feel empowered to navigate your life with confidence.
Practice description
My practice is entirely online, offering accessible and effective therapy to clients throughout the UK and Ireland. Online sessions can be just as relational, focused and impactful as in-person work, and many clients appreciate the convenience, privacy and comfort this format provides.
I bring together a range of therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs: • CBT for structured, evidence-based change • Person-Centred Therapy for empathy, safety and connection
• DBT skills for emotional regulation and distress tolerance • IFS-informed work for working with internal parts and past trauma • Humanistic and integrative methods for a holistic approach
Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your goals, whether you are seeking symptom relief, support with a crisis, or deeper personal development.
My first session
Your first online session is an opportunity for us to meet, explore what brings you to therapy, and consider whether we are a good fit. You do not need to prepare anything — simply come as you are.
We will look at your current concerns, relevant history, and any goals you may have. I will explain how online therapy works, including confidentiality, structure and what you can expect from me. You are welcome to ask any questions or express any preferences for how we work together.
If we decide to continue, sessions will take place weekly at a regular time. Depending on your needs, we can work short-term with a specific focus, or longer-term to explore deeper patterns and experiences. The aim from the beginning is to create a safe, consistent and effective therapeutic space where meaningful change can occur
